~ DEPARTMENT SETTINGS ~
Visible only to company administrators.
The department settings define the core parameters that govern the behaviour of the system and the data required for the system as a whole to work correctly. The settings should be made during implementation; later changes should be avoided because they can disturb the data.
Only the settings for the Brix modules used by the company or department are shown. The logic of inheriting settings from the company level is described in settings.
Some Brix features are enabled and charged separately, so their settings are not available in this tab. To enable them, send a support request.
Payment device numbers are not entered in the department settings but in the {Till - Invoices} and {Till - POS Receipts} fields on the ~ OTHER DATA ~ tab — see Payment device number in the receipt number.
| Setting | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| EP_IRA | Invoices are sent via F2.0 | Indicates whether the department sends eInvoices. This setting overrides the company-level setting for that department. If the setting is not set in the department, the company-level value applies. Order of precedence: the EP_IRA setting in the department takes precedence over the company-level setting. If it is set in the department, that value applies; if not, the department inherits the company-level value. |
| FREE_IRA | Free entry of invoice number and date | If set, the invoice number and date can be entered freely on the department's invoices. Stock cannot be kept in such departments. Invoices are fiscalised neither under F1 nor under F2.0, regardless of the company settings. On invoices of such a department the VOID and PAID F2.0 buttons are disabled and the DELETE button is available — see Transcript of invoices issued in other programs. A department with this setting cannot be the fixed assets department (the {FA Department} field in the company data), and FA invoices cannot be issued in it. |
| G_SDAN | New day starts at | Defines the exact time at which the system closes the day's turnover and starts a new working day. In catering and other businesses whose working hours extend past midnight, turnover made in the early morning hours (before the official start of the next day's work) is usually attributed to the previous date. This setting ensures that daily turnovers and shift reports (Z reports) match the actual working cycle of the premises rather than the calendar change of date at midnight. Example with the setting at 08:00: * An invoice issued today at 07:59 belongs to yesterday's turnover. * An invoice issued today at 08:01 belongs to today's turnover. |
| GYM_AUBOOK | Auto-booking offset in days | The number of days ahead (relative to today) for which the system automatically generates session bookings for members based on their schedules. If the value is e.g. 15, the system books today the sessions that fall exactly on the fifteenth day from today. Example: with the setting 15, if today is Monday, the system automatically books members for sessions on Tuesday two weeks later. |
| GYM_BLKOVR | Allow check-in on over-quota | |
| GYM_EXPIRE | Days to send message before subscription expiry | Default 3. |
| GYM_OVBCNT | Over-quota booking allowance | Default 2. |
| GYM_REMAIN | Number of remaining terms to trigger message | Default 2. |
| OJ_KAL | Selling price calculation required | Determines whether the goods receipt includes a selling price calculation. Set it in departments that sell wholesale or retail. If the department is a warehouse of raw materials or spare parts that are not sold, no selling price calculation is needed because the articles are issued at the average purchase price. |
| OJ_POSZAL | POS Sales Stock Control | Allows or prevents selling articles that are out of stock on POS invoices. |
| OJ_RU | In use: Amb, GP, H=F&D, Roba, Sklop/Menu, U=Service, Y:Package | Defines which types of goods/services are used in the department. If nothing is entered, the department uses all types. |
| OJ_ZAL | Stock is kept in the department | If enabled, stock of articles is kept in the department. If this setting is enabled, the FREE_IRA setting is ignored and invoices cannot be transcribed. |
| OTP_KUM | Accumulate delivery note items in the invoice | When enabled, items of the same article from several delivery notes are added up into one invoice item. Enabled by default. |
| ZAL_ZN | Number of decimals in quantity | Default 3. |
