FA Invoices
This form issues an invoice to the customer when a fixed asset is sold. The invoice header is the same as on an invoice for goods or services; the difference is in the items, where fixed assets from the fixed_assets register are selected instead of articles. The invoice is fiscalised under the same rules as all other invoices — see Sending invoices to F1 or F2.0 fiscalisation.
On approval Brix automatically calculates and posts:
- depreciation of the fixed asset up to the moment of sale,
- derecognition of the purchase value and accumulated depreciation of the asset sold,
- the expense for the undepreciated value, to the account in {Account},
- the receivable from the customer and the VAT liability,
- income from the sale of fixed assets.
The postings are shown in the ~ JOURNAL ENTRY ~ tab.

List
About filters and finding data in lists
Choose {Draft} or {Approved} to select the view and narrow it with {Year}. The {Find} box retrieves a single invoice regardless of the filter.
List columns:
- Status — eInvoice status at the information intermediary (e.g. Accepted, Delivered).
- F1 and F2 — A tick means the invoice was sent to F1 or F2.0 fiscalisation; Fiscalized is the fiscalisation date.
- Number, Date, Customer, Amount, Foreign Currency and Description — Data from the invoice header.
- P — Method of payment stated on the invoice.
- The total of the listed invoices is shown at the end of the list.
Buttons
Only the buttons valid for the current invoice status are shown.
- SAVE — Saves changes made in the invoice header.
- VOID — Voids an approved invoice. Wait for the information intermediary to fiscalise the invoice first — the rules are described in Void an invoice.
- PAID F2.0 — Records the payment of the invoice and reports it to the F2.0 system. The action is logged in the ~ AUDIT TRAIL ~ tab as the Charged event.

Limitations
- An FA invoice cannot be issued in a department with the FREE_IRA setting enabled. Brix rejects adding an invoice in such a department with the message “The department has free entry of invoice number and date (FREE_IRA). FA invoices cannot be issued in it.” The conditions the fixed assets department must meet are described below.
- The fixed asset being sold must have {KPD (Croatian Classification of Products by Activity)} entered. Only classifications from section G (codes beginning with “G”) are allowed.
If the fixed asset has no classification code, on approval Brix sends the code entered in the depreciation group the asset belongs to.
- An FA invoice cannot be linked to an advance payment invoice. An advance payment invoice intended for the sale of a fixed asset must be voided manually on the day the FA invoice is approved.
- After the invoice is approved or voided, {Delivery Region} can no longer be changed.
- If the list has no icon for adding a new invoice
and Brix shows the message “Depreciation has been calculated. No new documents can be entered.”, depreciation has been calculated up to the end of the year and blocks the entry of new fixed asset documents. The procedure is described in Entering a document after depreciation has been calculated.
Fixed assets department
An FA invoice is issued in the department entered in the {FA Department} field of the company data. In any other department Brix reports “This is not the FA department. Set it in the company data.”
The fixed assets department must meet the following conditions:
- The FREE_IRA setting is not enabled in the department settings. Invoices of a department with this setting are transcripts of invoices issued in another program and are fiscalised neither under F1 nor under F2.0 — see Transcript of invoices issued in other programs.
- The department has a business premises code entered.
- The {Till - Fixed Asset Sales} is entered in the company data — see the Payment device number section.
In the fixed assets department invoices are fiscalised according to the company settings. F1 fiscalisation is enabled for the company by support on request, and sending eInvoices under F2.0 is determined by the EP_IRA setting in the company settings.
Company transcribing invoices issued in another program
When a company transcribes into Brix invoices issued in another program, the procedure for selling fixed assets depends on whether its fixed assets are kept in Brix.
Fixed assets are kept in Brix. The sale is always recorded with an FA invoice in Brix, in the fixed assets department. If all the company's departments have the FREE_IRA setting enabled, a separate department is opened for fixed assets:
- In the Departments form add a new department without the FREE_IRA setting, with a business premises code.
- In the company data enter the new department in the {FA Department} field.
- Enter the {Till - Invoices} for the new department on the ~ OTHER DATA ~ tab, and the {Till - Fixed Asset Sales} in the company data.
- Issue the FA invoice in the new department.
Who issues the invoice to the customer depends on whether Brix fiscalises it:
- Brix fiscalises the invoice
The company has F1 fiscalisation or the EP_IRA setting enabled. The FA invoice from Brix is the invoice the customer receives and must not be issued again in the other program. - Brix does not fiscalise the invoice
The company has neither F1 fiscalisation nor the EP_IRA setting enabled. The invoice is issued to the customer and fiscalised in the other program and is not transcribed into Brix, because the sale is already recorded with the FA invoice. The invoice numbers in Brix and in the other program therefore inevitably differ; the number of the original invoice is entered in the {Notes} field in the ~ BASIC ~ tab.
Fixed assets are not kept in Brix. The invoice is issued and fiscalised in the other program and transcribed into Brix like other invoices, and the sale of the fixed asset is posted with an additional journal entry — see Selling a fixed asset without the Fixed Assets module.
Payment device number
The fiscalisation technical specification requires the payment device code to contain only digits 0-9, with no leading zeros, and to be unique within one business premises of the taxpayer. The value “0” is therefore not allowed.
For FA invoices this means:
- The {Till - Fixed Asset Sales} must be entered in the company data, next to the {FA Department}. The number must differ from the {Till - Invoices} and {Till - POS Receipts} of the fixed assets department.
- The department must have a business premises code. Without it the invoice form shows an error and does not allow entry.
- FA invoice sequence numbers have their own sequence, tied to that payment device number and separate from the department's other invoice sequences.
