~ ITEMS ~
In the invoice items the fixed assets being sold are selected from the fixed_assets register. For every item {Tariff no.} for VAT calculation and {Wholesale Value} are mandatory.
Item list
List columns: {#}, {Number} (inventory number), {Capital Asset}, {Purchase}, {Commissioned}, {Purchase Value}, {Depreciated}, {Expense} and {Write-off Value}, with a totals row.
Item data
The Item - Edit dialog shows the following fields:
- {#} — Item sequence number.
- {Name} — Fixed asset from the register; the inventory number and name are shown.
- {Purchase date} and {Commissioning Date} — Data from the fixed asset record; not entered on the invoice.
- {Write off Date} — Date on which the fixed asset is derecognised from the register.
- {Purchase Value} — Purchase value of the fixed asset from the register.
- {Depreciation} — Depreciation calculated up to the write-off date.
- {Accelerated} — Accelerated depreciation amount, for fixed assets with {Accelerated depreciation} ticked in the register.
- {Unrecognized Depreciation} — The part of depreciation not recognised for tax purposes, according to the depreciation group settings.
- {Excess Depreciation} — Depreciation above the tax-allowed rate, according to the depreciation group settings.
- {Expense} — Amount posted as an expense by the sale. It depends on whether the fixed asset was fully depreciated before the sale or is partly depreciated by the sale, so it does not necessarily equal {Depreciation}.
- {Tariff no.} — VAT tariff number under which VAT on the sale is calculated. Mandatory.
- {Wholesale Value} — Selling value of the fixed asset excluding VAT. Mandatory.
- {VAT} and {Total} — Calculated fields; not entered manually but calculated from the wholesale value and the tariff number.
The folder icon in the dialog header prints the fixed asset journal as a PDF. The SAVE button saves the item to the invoice.
