Retail

The Retail business solution manages sales and stock of goods in retail departments — shops, butcher's shops, bakeries and similar points of sale. Sales are recorded with POS receipts on a computer, tablet or mobile phone and on Fiskalna vaga SunMicro Fiscal devices, and purchases and stock movements with Goods In, Goods Out and delivery notes. The stock of a retail department is kept at selling prices.

• The selling price of an item is set only in the price list valid for the department.
• The price cannot be changed in an invoice or a Goods In document; the price of an item in stock is changed only with a Prices Leveling document.

The stock of a retail department is kept at selling price including VAT. Approving a daily sale writes off the stock at selling price. The ~ JOURNAL ENTRY ~ tab of the daily sale shows the stock write-off, the VAT and the calculated margin contained in the stock, and the cost of goods sold at purchase value.

Receipts issued on the Fiskalna vaga SunMicro Fiscal device and POS receipts are totalled by day in the Daily Sales form. Approving a daily sale writes off the stock and creates a summary cash payment into the till. Goods In documents and daily sales are approved in chronological order — see chronological order.
