The eInvoices business solution covers issuing quotes and invoices, sending invoices for fiscalisation under the F1 or F2.0 protocol, receiving and approving incoming eInvoices, and posting all of these documents the moment they are closed. When an invoice is closed, Brix selects the protocol, sends the invoice to the information intermediary, tracks the delivery status and reports the payment through eReporting.
Fiscalisation 2.0 is not merely a technical upgrade of the existing system; it is a comprehensive digital transformation of business in the Republic of Croatia.
It is a legally prescribed system in which every issued invoice — whether for transactions between businesses (B2B) or sales to consumers (B2C) — is automatically reported to the Tax Administration in real time.
All invoices issued to consumers (B2C) are also subject to mandatory fiscalisation, regardless of the payment method. This includes bank transfers as well as digital services such as Stripe, PayPal, Revolut, KEKS Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The Fiscalisation 2.0 system covers:
The rules deciding whether an invoice goes to F1 or F2.0 fiscalisation are described in Sending invoices to F1 or F2.0 fiscalisation. Brix supports two information intermediaries — mer and eposlovanje; the user contracts the service with the intermediary, and support enters the credentials into Brix.
When an outgoing invoice is closed, Brix immediately posts the receivable, the VAT liability and the revenue; the entries are visible in the invoice's ~ JOURNAL ENTRY ~ tab. A closed bill is posted the same way. Invoices enter the VAT return and the balance sheet by delivery date, and closed VAT periods are protected by the mechanism described in vat_period.
