Items

All types of goods and services are called items. Every item is given an item type, which governs how the item behaves in sales, in stock and in posting.

• Taking an item out of use

List

• SAVE — Saves the item data.
• DELETE — Deletes the item. An item entered on any document cannot be deleted; such an item is taken out of use by clearing its {Active} checkbox on the ~ BASIC ~ tab.

Which tabs are shown depends on the item type and on the modules the company subscribes to.

  The structures the item is entered in as a line.
