The tab holds the core data of the company: type of person, identifiers, address, contact details and economic activities. The fields are listed in the order they appear on screen. The data is updated in the [ Company - Edit ] dialog, which opens with the pencil icon next to {Name}.

• {Business}, {Individual} — Type of person.
  Companies, associations and institutions are businesses (legal persons); sole trades and self-employed activities are individuals. A later change of the type of person requires correction of related data, so a support request is submitted for it.
• {Country}
  Country of the company's registered office. The country determines the VAT calculation, the VAT ID check and the printing of the EU preferential origin clause on export invoices.
• {VAT Status}
  For companies with a registered office in Croatia, the VAT status of the entrepreneur is entered, as shown on the Tax Administration portal. The data is used in the VAT calculation.
  • The icon next to the field opens the Tax Administration page Provjera obveznika u sustavu PDV-a in a new browser tab.
  • Unlike a partner, the company has no {Check Date} field — the company administrator or its accountant is responsible for the accuracy of the company's own VAT status, so it has to be corrected as soon as the company enters or leaves the VAT system.
• {VAT Exemption}
  Shown only when {VAT Status} is N-Nisu u sustavu (not in the VAT system). The basis on which the company is outside the VAT system is selected:
  • Bolnička i medicinska njega (bolnice i sl.)
  • Mali porezni obveznik prihod do 60.000,00 EUR
  • Medicinska njega (neovisno o pravnom obliku)
  • Ostale usluge djelatnosti od javnog interesa iz čl.39.st.1.t.f) do r)
  • Usluge dentalnih tehničara (neovisno o pravnom obliku)
• {oib}
• {MBS/MBO/RNO}
  • MBS — company registration number in the court register.
  • MBO — insured person's number, the nine-digit number from the HZZO health card, or the registration number of a sole trade.
  • RNO — number in the Register of Non-Profit Organisations.
• {Entity ID}
  Registration number of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (MB DZS).
• {vat_id}
• {EORI}
  Economic Operators Registration and Identification number used in customs procedures. It is assigned by the Customs Administration and is unique across the whole European Union.
  • Used in the EU preferential origin clause on export invoices up to €6,000.
• {REX}
  Registered Exporter number. Entered only if the company is registered in the REX system; it is a separate number and is not the same as the EORI number.
  • Without a REX number an export invoice over €6,000 to a country with a Free Trade Agreement cannot be closed if the goods are of EU preferential origin.
• {Fiscal representative}
  Shown if the company setting G_PDVREP (the accountant is the fiscal representative) is enabled. The company is then assigned an accounting firm that is also its fiscal representative. Taxable persons established outside the European Union who supply goods and services in the Republic of Croatia with the place of taxation in Croatia (unless VAT is paid by the Croatian recipient) become Croatian taxable persons and must appoint a fiscal representative. The fiscal representative must be authorised to receive documents, file VAT returns and perform all tasks related to the assessment and payment of VAT. • {Name}, {Name - Second Line}
  The rules for entering the name are described on the pages naziv_tvrtke and naziv_obrta.
• {Subsidiary of}
  If the company in Brix is a department (branch or subsidiary) of another business, the business it belongs to is entered here.
• {Search for Address}
  Address lookup from the code book. Selecting an address fills in the {Number}, {Street}, {Post code} and {Town/City} fields.
• {Number}, {Street}, {Post code}, {Town/City}
• {email}
  The company's main email address. Addresses for particular purposes, e.g. notifications about newly received incoming invoices, are entered in the email tab. The envelope icon next to the field opens the email client with the entered address as the recipient; the icon is shown only when the field is filled in.
• {Web Address}
  The icon opens the entered page in a new browser tab. The icon is shown only when the field is filled in.
• {Phone}, {Mobile}
  The country dialling code is selected in front of the number. The handset icon next to the field starts a call to the entered number; the icon is shown only when a number is entered.
• {Basic Economic Activity}
  One activity code according to NKD 2025.
• {Activities (NACE 2025)}
  List of all activities according to NKD 2025 the company is registered for, including the basic activity. The basic activity is entered first. The data determines the offer of KPD codes in the [ Items ] form, by allowing the selection of a KPD code within the division¹⁾ of any entered activity of the company.
  • Activities can be checked by NKD 2025 on the pages of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, and for sole traders by NKD 2007 and NKD 2025 on the pages of the Trades Register search.
  • The data is mandatory for Fiscalisation 2.0.
• {Principal Activity (NACE 2007)}
  One activity code according to NKD 2007. Used for certain reports submitted to the Tax Administration, which still uses NKD 2007 for that purpose. When the Tax Administration moves to NKD 2025, this field will need to be updated.
