New in BRIX
A widget on the Brix home page, visible right after logging in. It shows announcements by the Brix support team about new features, changes and upgrades of Brix. The widget is a permanent part of the home page — every user in every company sees it and it cannot be removed.
Only announcements in the user's interface language are shown, and only those whose publication date has arrived.
Display
- Date — Publication date.
- Version — The Brix version the announcement refers to; empty for notices not tied to a version.
- Name — The announcement title.
- Modules, Programs — The Brix modules and programs the announcement refers to.
Announcements are ordered newest first, and the row colour means:
- Red — a permanent notice that always stays at the top of the list.
- Blue — an announcement published today.
- Black — all other announcements.
The field in the top right corner of the widget is the search box — it narrows the list to announcements containing the entered text. The list is split into pages of 10 announcements; pages are turned with the buttons in the footer.
Opening an announcement
Clicking an announcement opens a dialog with its title, text and photograph. If the announcement points to a help page or to an article on the MICRO PROCESS website, clicking it opens that page instead of the dialog.
