Users

In this form the company administrator manages the users who have access to Brix. Besides the user's basic data, the administrator assigns each user the companies and departments they may access, their role, document permissions, DMS groups and the programs shown in their menu.

About filters and finding data in lists

The list filter and columns are described on List.

• — Adds a new user to the company selected in the filter.
• EMAIL TO ALL — Sends an email message to all users in the list; the procedure is described in email.
• SAVE — Saves the user data.
• CHANGE PASSWORD — Sends the user an email with a link for setting or changing their password. Shown only in the Edit dialog.

  Login data, personal data, photograph and signature.
• ~ PERMISSIONS ~
  Access to companies and departments, role, document permissions and DMS groups.
• ~ PROGRAMS ~
  Programs the user sees in the menu.

• A user who has already entered data in Brix cannot be deleted, because the user is recorded in documents and other records (e.g. in the Issued by field). Such a user is disabled by clearing {Active} on the ~ BASIC ~ tab.
• A user who is not an administrator sees in the menu only the programs switched on in the ~ PROGRAMS ~ tab.
