The tab holds the data on one item's stock in one department. Only the fields in the upper part are entered; the quantity, price and value fields are calculated from the movements and are not entered.

• {Item} — The item's code and name.
• {Stock Count in Progress} — If the item is “under stock count”, the number and date of the stock count list it is on are shown. While the item is under stock count it cannot be entered on incoming or outgoing documents (goods received, goods issued, invoices, delivery notes). More on stock counts in Stock count.
• {Min Stock Level} — If entered, and the item's stock is at or below this quantity, the item is listed in the To order report.
• {Optimal Stock Level} — Used to calculate the quantity to order when the item's stock is at or below the minimum.
• {Position} — The physical location of the goods in the warehouse. The + button to the right of the field opens a new position.

• {Item Stock Type} and {Stocks Account} — Allow the same item to be kept on different stock accounts, depending on the warehouse it is in.
  • In retail warehouses the accounts depend solely on the item type (Packaging, Own product or Goods) and cannot be redefined.

Calculated fields:

• {Stock} — The item's quantity in stock in the department.
• {Qty in Unapproved Goods Received} — Quantity received on goods-received notes that have no purchase calculation yet; it cannot be issued or sold.
• {Sold}
• {Ordered/Undelivered Qty}
• {Reserved by buyers}
• {VAT}
• {Last PC} — The last purchase price from the most recent goods-received note, regardless of supplier.

• {Last inventory count}
• {Avg Purchase Px.} — Average purchase price, calculated by dividing the purchase value of the stock by its quantity.
