Sets the device type at the point of sale and the department it belongs to, for a fiscal scale or till the payment device numbers printed on the receipt and, for a fiscal scale, the text the scale prints on the receipt.
{Active}
At an inactive point of sale the scale can no longer issue receipts.
{To program}
Applies only to a fiscal scale. Prepared for future self-programming of the fiscal scale; it currently has no effect.
{Type}
Type of device at that place. The type determines whether the record behaves as a point of sale or as a plain location:
{Department}
The
department the location or point of sale belongs to. The
business premises code, the second part of the receipt number, is taken from the department.
{Number}
The payment device number of the fiscal scale or till, printed in the third part of the receipt number (e.g.
1234/P1/2). Shown for the
Fiscal scale and
GUI types and mandatory on an active point of sale; on an inactive one it may be cleared, which frees the number for another device.

A
whole number greater than 0, without leading zeros — for example
1,
2 or
10, but not
0 or
01.

Within business premises the number may not repeat — neither on another point of sale nor as the department's
{Till - Invoices} or
{Till - POS Receipts} or the company's
{Till - Fixed Asset Sales}. The check also covers inactive points of sale.

Changing this number during the year breaks the existing receipt number sequence and a new sequence starts from 1. For the
Fiscal scale type the field is disabled if receipts with this number already exist for that scale; the reason is shown in the tooltip next to the field.
{Void}
Payment device number for
voids of fiscal scale receipts. Shown only for the
Fiscal scale type and mandatory on an active scale; when the type is changed to another, the field is hidden and the entered number is cleared. Voids that Brix issues for receipts from that scale carry this number and
their own number sequence starting from 1 — the procedure is described in
Storniranje računa.

The same format and uniqueness rules apply as for
{Number}, with no exception:
{Void} must differ from the
{Number} of the same scale and from the department's
{Till - Invoices} and
{Till - POS Receipts}. Scale voids have their own payment device number and their own sequence, but are included in the same financial and stock turnover as the scale's regular receipts. They are not shown in the reports printed by the scale itself.

The field is disabled if voids with this number already exist for that scale; the reason is shown in the tooltip next to the field.
{Name}
The name by which the location or point of sale is recognised in lists, up to 64 characters.
{Device}
The device assigned to the point of sale — serial number and name. Display only; the device is assigned by MICRO PROCESS technical support.
On saving, Brix checks the payment device numbers: a number already entered in the same business premises — on a point of sale, in a department or in the company data — is not saved, and the message names where it is entered.
Shown only for the Fiscal scale type. Each line is one line of text the scale prints on the receipt. The
button adds a new line; a line is removed by deleting its text.
