The tab shows every structure the item is entered in as a line — in other words, what the item is used in. This is the opposite direction of the Structures form, which shows what a given item is made of.
The tab serves impact assessment: before a purchase price change, when a raw material runs short, or when an ingredient is substituted, it shows which items are affected and in what quantity.
Active — Whether the structure is active. This refers to the structure, not to the item.
Item — The name of the parent item, with its
item type in brackets.
Department — The department the structure applies to.
Consumption — The quantity of this item that goes into that structure.
For quantity — The quantity of the parent item that the consumption relates to.
If a bakery structure consumes 0.100 kg of flour per 100 pieces, the Consumption column on the flour item shows 0.100 kg and the For quantity column shows 100 pcs.
Clicking a row opens that structure in the Structures form.
The tab shows directly superordinate items only, that is a single level. If a raw material goes into a food and drinks item and that item is in turn a line of a menu, the raw material's tab shows the food and drinks item but not the menu. When assessing impact across several levels, check the structures of the items shown as well.
