====== Own product ======

The structure of an [[brix:en:goods:own_product|own product]] sets the raw materials and materials needed to make a product of the company's own manufacture. If the product has a structure, an issue slip with the required quantities is generated automatically in the raw materials department.

A structure only needs to be entered for products whose manufacture will be repeated. For a product made once, entering the issue slip directly is simpler.

===== Entry procedure =====

  - In the list filter select //**{Type}**// = //Own product// and check that the structure for the product does not already exist.
  - Start the entry of a new structure with {{:brix:hr:plus-circle.png?20&direct}}.
  - On the **//~ BASIC ~//** tab, select the product in the //**{Structure for}**// field and enter the //**{Quantity}**// the structure relates to.
  - On the **//~ ITEMS ~//** tab, add every raw material that goes into the product with {{:brix:hr:plus-circle.png?20&direct}}.
  - Confirm the entry with <color #ffffff/#0087ab>**SAVE**</color>.

===== Meaning of the data =====

The data common to every type is described on [[brix:en:structures]]. For an own product the following also applies:

  * //**{Item}**// — The raw material or material that goes into the product.

If the product has no structure entered, the raw materials issue slip is not created automatically. In that case an issue slip of type **//RNGP//** is entered by hand in the raw materials department and linked to the job card. The full procedure is described on [[brix:en:manufacturing]].
