In this tab the **item code (PLU)** on the [[vage:sunmicrofiscal:]] is linked to **goods/services** in Brix. The tab is shown only for the **Fiscal scale** type. The list of items and PLU codes on the scale is printed with the [[brix:en:daily_bills:l_artsun]] report.

It is essential that the //**{Description for sunMicro}**// contains an **item name exactly identical** to the one in the fiscal scale. Items on the scale are linked to items in Brix by this name.

  * **One extra space** between two words in the name **automatically means** a new item.
  * With every receipt Brix checks the items and, if it does not find an identically named item, **automatically opens a new item** in the Brix data.
  * Merging items in Brix afterwards is very demanding and consequently **expensive work**.
  * Data you enter in Brix is **not written to the scale** — communication is **strictly one-way**, from the scale to Brix.

==== Programming new items (PLU) on the scale ====

If a **new item (PLU)** is programmed on the scale, on the first sale of that item the system will:

  * **automatically enter the new goods** in the Brix data,
  * if the company is **VAT-registered**, assign the **25% VAT rate**,
  * if the company is **not VAT-registered**, not assign a VAT rate.
